News & Events:

Good day everyone,
Isn’t it strange weather, I have just been dodging hailstones!
Let’s hope we have a wonderful Autumn and particularly for our Show on Sunday, 29 September between 2pm and 5pm.

Yes, I know SUNDAY!  Some of you may not have spotted on the website that for the first time in living memory we are holding our Autumn Show on a Sunday due to availability at the Pond Square Chapel.

We will be in the basement (long standing members may remember we did hold the show there in the early days of using the church) and setting up will take place between 9am and 11am on Sunday morning.  I need your entries by Friday, 27 September

I hope that this is a successful departure just for this show as there simply wasn’t a Saturday in September or early October available.

Show schedule which is also on the website. If you can donate cakes, jams, chutney, surplus fruit and vegetables for our produce stall or a cake for the teas and surplus plants that would be wonderful.  Similarly, if you could raid your “lovely but unwanted gift” drawer (I am sure we all have one!) for our raffle it would be most appreciated.  All proceeds go to the Society to stage the shows. I hope to see you all on Sunday, 29 September!

Kindest regards
Roxane
